We are looking for motivated professionals to support our team with frontend and backend development.
Responsibilities:
As a fullstack developer at summetix, you will redact our Python-based backends, extend our existing UIs according to customers’ needs and extend our API(s) with new features. You will also deploy and test applications in our Kubernetes cluster and build prototypes for new services in our existing microarchitecture.
Minimum Qualifications:
■ Degree in computer science (Informatik), information systems
(Wirtschaftsinformatik) or comparable
■ 2+ years experience in building front- and backend applications
■ Verifiable experience with backend and frontend development with Python,
■ React or other JS frameworks
■ Ability to work independently and to contribute your own ideas
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific qualities we are looking for but are not required to have at the beginning of your journey with summetix. You don’t need to have all or any of them to join our team.
■ Interest in and knowhow of natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning
■ Experience with relational databases (ideally with MySQL), elasticsearch and redis
■ Experienced user of DevOps tools like git(hub) and IDEs (e.g. PyCharm)
■ Experience with cloud environments (preferred: AWS) and CI/CD pipelines via git and docker
■ Experience with Kubernetes
■ Basic experience with Java, Jekyll, Jamstack
